We start our day crossing the border of the Vatican City State, via our special checkpoint for reserved visitors (no queue!).
The Vatican houses one of the world’s greatest collections of Classical and Renaissance art displayed in a complex of glorious buildings, we walk along the brilliantly decorated galleries lined with masterpieces of Roman sculptures, Renaissance tapestries and frescos to reach the Sistine Chapel.
We marvel at the exquisite ceiling frescoes by Michelangelo, scenes so beautiful to be considered among the greatest masterpieces of all time!
We then proceed to St. Peter’s basilica, the centre of the Catholic faith.
This  vast and awe inspiring church is rich in decoration, history and art, among its many treasures is the moving Pietà by Michelangelo,  sculpted when the artist was only twenty four.
From the colonnaded Piazza San Pietro we take a picture of the famous window from where the Pope gives the Sunday blessing and by taxi (or car) we proceed to the privileged entrance of the Colosseum (no queue!)

The grandest amphitheatre ever built was inaugurated in 80 AD by the emperor Titus to hold gladiatorial fights, beasts hunts and public executions.

We will bring to life the dangerous and painful lives of “those about to die” the gladiators!
After the Colosseum by taxi (or car) we drive across the archaeological area of the Forums to Trevi Fountain, one of the greatest symbols of Rome, here we follow the tradition and ask our guests to toss three coins into the fountain and make their wish to return to Rome!
