Our Eternal City tour has been designed for those who would like to get the most of their visit, enjoying the local culture and flavour through a more open-air experience, no museums are included but all most iconic monuments are!

An easy going, enjoyable tour for everybody and our suggested tour for family with kids!

We start our day at the precious basilica of St. Peter’s in chains to admire the monumental tomb of the Pope Julius II by Michelangelo, the project the artist didn’t want to postpone to paint the Sistine ceiling.

Then we walk straight to the Colosseum entrance. The icon of ancient Rome is an impressive marvel of engineering, the largest Roman amphitheater ever built, dedicated by the emperor Titus in 80 A.D. it could sit some 73000 spectators. The inauguration games lasted a hundred days, 5000 wild animals were killed  on a single day!

We gaze in awe at the spectacular Arch of Constantine, with its intricate carving on our way to the Roman Forum, the literal heart of ancient Rome, a center for trade, religion, and politics.

We then reach the summit of Capitoline Hill, the most sacred of ancient Rome, where the Temple of Jupiter the Greatest and the Best once stood, here triumphant generals made sacrifices to the gods for giving them victories.

A short stop for refreshments before tackling the old town, the most fascinating district of Rome.
We visit the Pantheon, a fabulous ancient temple in an astonishing state of preservation. A few steps more to Trevi fountain, the best known and most spectacular fountain of Rome. Here, we follow the tradition and ask our guests to toss three coins in the fountain to ensure that they will someday return to Rome.

The tour continues with a stroll around the Spanish Steps, the monumental baroque staircase in the very heart of Rome most exclusive shopping district, sampling a good gelato and window shopping at Prada, Gucci, Bulgari…… No better way to end your dream of a day!
